Summer Solstice

One of my strongest and most recent joys was this night of celebration and sharing and love. There are few things better than rejoicing in the wonder of summer while dancing, twirling, and giggling the length of a dock, lighted by little candles or flashlights when the wind would not hold the flames still.

One time, pup lived with us for a week...


...at the end of which we drove all the way across the state and saw tiny leafs and reflections.


And watched clouds trying to be evergreens and napped and discussed the universe.



And skipped through the woods to the lake.
