Immensity

Nothing puts things into perspective like huge, ancient trees. I know this wasn't technically a 'little' joy but I did like it anyway.

Pictures don't convey the experience at all.


So many rings. So many summers and winters.



And the sunlight filters through.

    the way sun shines through trees really is one of my little joys. there is almost nothing better.
